Nurul Islam Bhuiyan <\/h3>
CEO<\/div>

Nurul Islam Bhuiyan is a seasoned analyst in state, social, and political trends, currently working as the CEO of GramBangla Systems Limited, where he has been actively involved for over a decade. With a rich background spanning seventeen years (1978-1995) of activism for social transformation, Nurul IB dedicated himself to advocating for the marginalized in Bangladesh. Transitioning into active journalism at the national level in the subsequent decade, he continued his mission of social betterment.<\/p>\n

Throughout his career, Nurul IB has remained committed to leveraging innovation and technology to improve the lives of the underprivileged. As a socio-political observer, he actively engages in various forms of activism to influence policy change, taking a multitude of factors such as public opinion, economic dynamics, technological advancements, and societal trends into consideration.<\/p>\n

A graduate of Dhaka University with a bachelor\u2019s degree, Nurul IB is deeply passionate about social work, particularly advocating for accessible education as the cornerstone of philanthropy in Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Nazneen Akhtar<\/h3>
Director of Research and Development<\/div>

Nazneen Akhtar is an Anthropologist. She is involved as the Director of Research and Development in GramBangla Systems Ltd. currently investigating access to and inequalities in internet use among underprivileged women in rural Bangladesh. Akhtar is a gender expert continuing her activism in areas of women\u2019s rights for more than a decade working in different parts of Bangladesh and abroad including the UK and USA. Her research focuses on exploring new ways of using known knowledge in different spheres to improve people\u2019s lives reflected in her peer-reviewed journal publications. She obtained her Master\u2019s degree in English Literature from Dhaka University, Bangladesh, Master\u2019s degree in Anthropology, and Gender & Sexuality from The New School for Social Research, New York, USA.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Mahbub Hasan<\/h3>
Senior Manager <\/div>

Mahbub Hasan, focuses on the business expansion for GramBangla Systems Ltd. (GBSL). He builds GBSL\u2019s future directions based on his extensive understanding of the past, and present trends of internet and data communication business in Bangladesh. His interest lies in exploring Strategic Internet Technology Planning of the company and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and security protocols. Hasan with his MBA background is responsible in GBSL to include, customizing internet services to match client needs utilizing his expertise in cost-effective service delivery, device, and technology combination for the last one decade.<\/p>\n

Mahbub Hasan, Senior Manager at GramBangla Systems Ltd., is the focal point of the technical team. He ensures compliance, and implements best practices for internet service, network security, and data protection. With a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and more than a decade of experience in ISP arena, his vision is to innovate and excel in delivering quality internet services to underprivileged communities in remote Bangladesh. He also seeks to expand his knowledge through international conferences and expert communication.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Jakia Sultana <\/h3>
Operations Manager <\/div>

Jakia Sultana is involved as the Operations Manager in GramBangla Systems Ltd. (GBSL), Sultana with her Master\u2019s in Social Science has been a part and parcel of GBSL since 2008. Her role involves managing the executive team and other key personnel, ensuring implementation of the company board decisions on resource allocation, investments, and budgeting. She also supervises and assists day-to-day performance and is accountable for the overall performance of the company. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Md Jamal Hossain<\/h3>
Deputy Manager <\/div>

Md Jamal Hossain, Deputy Manager at GramBangla Systems Ltd. since 2016, comes with a B.Sc degree in Electronic & Telecommunication Engineering. He supervises server and core network maintenance, designing and modifying network planning for new projects with proficiency in Cisco, MikroTik, Juniper, and other technologies. Hossain, fluent in Bengali and English with basic German knowledge, is a passionate tech enthusiast who enjoys rural Bangladesh travel adventures during his leisure.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Ruhul Amin <\/h3>
Senior Executive <\/div>

Ruhul Amin works as a Senior Executive in GramBangla Systems Ltd. (GBSL). He works in connecting the business and technical team of the company. His involvement is in executing business & network expansion, and technology deployment. His primary role within the GBSL team is to oversee the implementation of internet services across remote areas of Bangladesh. He diligently supervises the activities of grassroots-level engineers on a regular basis. He holds a B.Sc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Md. Bashir Ahmed<\/h3>
Account Executive <\/div>

Md. Bashir Ahmed, an Account Executive at GramBangla Systems Ltd. since February 18th, 2009, holds a Master\u2019s degree in Accounting. His responsibilities include maintaining financial records, preparing statements, managing accounts, ensuring compliance with UDDIPAN, conducting audits, and submitting reports to regulatory and revenue authorities such as RJSC, BTRC, and NBR. Additionally, he oversees updated licenses and memberships of BTRC, APNIC, and ISPAB. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Public Relations and Admin Officer<\/div>

Ayesha Siddika is the Public Relations and Admin Officer in GramBangla Systems Ltd. (GBSL) for over a decade. Her responsibilities include customer and overall administrative support, asset record and supply management. Ayesha is dedicated to efficiently organizing tasks, acquiring new skills, and staying abreast of office management trends. She derives satisfaction from her role in supporting the company\u2019s success.<\/p>\n<\/div>
